[ Nigerian film 'Ezra' shines in Zanzibar, Tanzania ] - Nigerian film 'Ezra' shines at ZIFF: Immediately after the sail was brought down to mark the end of the 11th Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) on Saturday night, five lanterns were released. [ Iran To Stone To Death Nine For Adultery ] - Nine persons, who were convicted of adultery in separate cases in different Iranian cities, will be stoned to death, according to media reports Sunday. Shadi Sadr -- a lawyer and women's rights activist leading a campaign in Iran against stoning deaths -said the trial procedures was not applied properly in the cases. [ Gunmen attack Governor Orji's convoy ] - Abia, Nigeria: The convoy of governor of Nigeria's southeastern state of Abia came under fire along Umuahia - Port Harcourt expressway today from about 20 gunmen who made off with a support vehicle in the convoy. The governor, Theodore Orji was at the airport scheduled to be picked up at time of the attack. There was no report of death nor injury from the assault.

In the mail they warned Ijaw militant groups in the Niger Delta and threatened to invade Nigeria's capital, Abuja if they are not satisfied with the Niger Delta Summit. They wrote( unedited ): "We of the above movement in Delta State, do hereby states that the Ijaw's struggles for resources control as they claim are theirs and does not reflect to the struggle of the entire people of the Niger Delta people.
