The theme of the Web Commentary is 'Peace and Prosperity' of the continent. Africa has been plagued with corruption, wars, diseases, and famine. It is just about time to soothe these wounds, and advocate for treatment through this Web Commentary medium. In this manner, the forum would be used as a vehicle of peace and prosperity to a great but troubled continent. Africa would be at peace and would grow, when the guns are silenced, corrupt and inept leaders brought to law and order, hunger given no place, and menacing diseases beaten back. Africa would transcend to a 'New Africa' with all these in place. Posterity would tell the rest for a continent endowed with both human and natural resources.

All we are saying for Africa, "Let the guns implode, the wooden barrels decompose to fertilize a vibrant agriculture, and the metallic barrels and structures melted for industrialization. Let the ensuing abundance fill up the greedy and the rest of society for the complete healing of Africa."
