Masterweb disassociates itself from the Black President '08 Film project. All information submitted to us by prospective actors and actresses have been purged from our system and were not forwarded to anybody or entity. We gathered forms are being sold to prospective actors & actresses. Anybody purchasing such a form is on his or her own and not acting on instructions contained in our publication of September 10, 2007( see below ) on the alleged film. We are now withdrawing that publication, because the executive producer failed to confirm sources of funding for the film. He rather embarked on the sale of application forms to prospective actors & actresses. References to Nigeria / Africa Masterweb in the promotion of the film is illegal as we have disassociated ourselves from the project.

Actors and actresses are needed for an African slavery film to be shot in Nigeria. Selected actors and actresses would be appropriately compensated. This is a great film acting opportunity for Nigerians and Africans both at home and in the Diaspora. The film "The Black President 2008", according to the executive producer, Sam Wantings, a Nigerian resident in the United States would retrace the black man's journey from Africa as slaves to America. Wantings believes all Africans are behind Barack Obama's race for the U.S. presidency. Obama was born on August 4th, 1961, in Hawaii to a Kenyan father, Barack Obama, Sr. and an American mother, Ann Dunham. He is currently a United States Senator from Illinois. Obama dedicated his life to public service as a community organizer, civil rights attorney, and leader in the Illinois state Senate for eight years. Thereafter he was elected U.S. senator. Sworn into office January 4, 2005 as U.S. senator, Obama serves on the Veterans' Affairs, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committees. He is a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, which plays a vital role in shaping American policy around the world. In 2005 and 2006, he served on the Environment and Public Works Committee In the film, Wantings plans to re-enact the African slave trade from capture of slaves to arrival and exploitation in the Americas using actors. The idea is to show how Obama's candidacy emerged from such a horrible African transatlantic history. In Wantings own words: "Our son of Africa is running for president, I want to show what we as Africans went through, and for Obama to win it would be a complete turnaround. We want to do this movie to prove how much we support him." Wantings got financing for the $14 million film project through his own wallet and African supporters of Obama. All Africans are invited to be part of this project, from start to finish. One can participate as an actor, actress, ideas contributor and/or patron viz purchase of finished film or view at movie theatres.
