[ Photo Left: Dr. Chima Uko Igwe, AAN Electoral Committee Member ]Press Release: Election of New Officers of Arkansas Association of Nigerians(AAN) will be at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at University of Arkansas(UALR), Little Rock, Arkansas. All AAN members are encouraged to participate in this democratic event. Come and run for office, and vote for our new leaders. The general public is also cordially invited. We need new leaders with a vision to move us forward. We need new leaders who will run and manage our new African Heritage House with great accountability for the benefit of all, and the fear of God. Our presence in the community is becoming more visible, therefore we need individuals who will represent us well. We need new leaders that will bring healing to our community which at present is very fractured.
